Special Abilities: jumps really high, great swimmer, great climber, extremely agile and quick like a velociraptor, extremely stealthy like a chameleon

Origin: Pelegostos is a lizard-like kaiju that resides in the jungles of Central America. He is extremely predatory and uses his stealth to hunt down his unlucky prey. His snake-like tongue can pick up the scent of dying prey from up to 20 miles away. His DNA is very similar to jungle- dwelling lizards, the velociraptor, and snakes.

Pelegostos was responsible for the extinction of the Aztecs, not Hernando Cortez. 100's of years ago, at the peak of the Aztec empire, Aztec scouts found a mysterious egg abandoned in the heart of the Central American rainforest. When they brought it before the Aztec emperor Montezuma, he immediately assumed it was the egg of the serpent god: Quetzlcoatl. When Pelegostos hatched from the egg, the Aztecs locked him in a sacred chamber. He was given live human sacrifices to keep him fed and healthy. As the years passed, Pelegostos grew to a monstrous size and managed to escape from the chamber that had kept him away from the outside world for so long. He wiped out the great Aztec metropolis of Tenochtitlan and escaped into the jungle that had brought him into this world.
